Once Upon A Time...
...in a land far, far away there was a stressed out, unwell, unhappy Mummy. She loved her children very much, but to be honest life was a bit pants! She dreamily bought spiritual magazines and read lots of inspiring books, but couldn't quite see how they could relate to someone who burned pizza, worked in a bank, spent hours training to be an accountant, was always late on the school run and had a psychotic dog that chewed socks!
Then one day she went for a Tarot Reading and everything started to change...
Roll forward to 2010...
Pizzas still get burned,accounts have been forgotten and time keeping is what is now called a challenge!
Nicky now spends her time working for herself, doing something that she loves with a passion. She started Holistic Insights on Halloween, 2006 with the aim of inspiring people to love their life.She found out she was a Psychic and Medium when she was 27, which was a bit of a shock, but life has been incredible since and she has met some wonderful friends. She is a trained Holistic Therapist and Reiki Master and loves working with people to increase their energy, work through their challenges and create happier times.
Nicky always joked that she worked for cake, so opening The Witches Brew seemed like a great idea. The aim is to create a space, where people can come to relax, socialise and be inspired.
The Witches Brew has evolved into so much more than a coffee shop, becoming a meeting place for local businesses, a workshop space, a therapy centre, a hen party venue and a place to discover a plethora of information. Nicky has often joked that she could write a book about her life and I'm sure some day she will!
From Management Accountant to Psychic is a strange path to take, but this has lead Nicky on an amazing journey, first of self discovery, then of loving people.
Nicky has gathered various tools over the years, from Tarot to Holistic Therapy and more recently to the art of dance and its use in building female confidence.
Nicky now spends her time guiding people to use their own energy and intuition to make better choices and have more fun in their lives. She spends a lot of time networking and talking at business events, combining her life experiences with 15 years in finance. Through workshops, talks and events Nicky uses real life, down to earth language, humour and easy techniques to encourage the quest for a happier, more spiritual life, while remaing in the real world and not on top of a mountain eating berries!
Nicky is available as a workshop facilitator and is working with Evolve Training UK in their latest R U Fit For Business workshops.
